Private Percy Freeman

Battalion : 10th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born and lived at Creswell, Derbyshire. Son of Sarah Ann Freeman. He was a coal miner prior to enlisting at Creswell, 2nd September 1914. He went to France 14th July 1915 and was killed in action, 10th September 1916, by German shellfire whilst on a working party near Fricourt, France, during the Battle of the Somme.
