Born at Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, and lived at 5 Seniors Hill, Stockwell Gate, Mansfield. Son of Henry and Emma Flint; Husband of Alma Constance Flint, of Mansfield. He was a house painter prior to enlisting at Mansfield. He was killed in action, 20th September 1917, during the attack at Klein-Zillebeke, Belgium.
