British War and Victory MedalBorn at Chichester, Sussex and lived at Carlton-On-Trent, Newark, Nottinghamshire. Son of Walter and Alice Maud Faulkner, of Keepers Cottage, Carlton-On-Trent. He enlisted at Southwell, Nottinghamshire, went to France 28th June 1915 and was killed in action 4th March 1917, age 20, whilst moving forward to take over old German front line trenches, during which the Germans launched a counter-attack.
