Born at Richmond, Surrey and lived at 14 Townshed Road, Richmond. Son of Herbert William and Anne Dutton, of St. Margaret’s, Twickenham, Middlesex. He enlisted at London, went to France 23rd December 1915 and was killed in action. 3rd May 1916, aged 19, whilst serving in the line near Dernancourt, France.
