Sergeant William Henry Drabble

Battalion: 1/8th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born at Southwell, Nottinghamshire. Son of William and Alice Drabble, of Easthorpe, Southwell. He was a Grocers Apprentice at Bridge Place, Worksop, Nottinghamshire prior to enlisting at Southwell. He went to France 2nd March 1915 and was killed in action, 4th October 1917, age 22, whilst serving in the line near Hill 70, Mazingarbe, France.
