Bron at Castle Donnington, Leicestershire. Son of John and Emily ellen daykin of clap green Street, Castle Donnington, Leicestershire. He was a gardener prior to enlisting 20th July 1909, at Derby. He was posted 2nd Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derby’s) Regiment. and went to France 4th November 1914. He was killed action whils in the line at Houlines, Bekgium.20th February 1915.
