Born in Southampton. Son of James and Grace Green, of 53, Forester Street, Derby. He was a clerk prior to enlisting 8th September 1914. He went to France 1st March 1915. Was appointed Lance Corporal 6th April 1915 and died of wounds 29th July 1915, aged 20.
