Son of E and Sofia Pugh (formerly Davis), of 96 Wills Street, Smethwick, Birmingham. He was a carter prior to enlisting on 17th October 1917 at West Bromwich. He was killed in action, on 13th October 1918, aged 19. in the attack on Neuvilly, France.
