Born at Balsall, Warwickshire. Son of G. A. Davis, of 11, Vere Street, Birmingham; Husband of Mrs Emma Stevens (formerly Davis), of 16, Standard Terrace, Wynn Street, Birmingham. He enlisted at Birmingham and was killed in action, on 3rd October 1918, aged 30, in the attack on the villages of Ramicourt and Monbrehain, France.
