Born in Binfield, Berkshire and lived in Dalham, Suffolk. Son of Frederick and Sarah Davies, of Dalham. He enlisted at Bury St. Edmonds, Suffolk and was killed in action on 18th September 1918, in a raid on the German line near Lechelle, France.
