Private Thomas Davidson

Battalion: 1/8th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born and lived at Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. Son of George and Sarah Davidson, of 2, Dunn Yard, Ratcliffe Gate, Mansfield. He was a labourer prior to enlisting on 16th October 1914 at Mansfield. He went to France on 6th June 1915 and was killed, 31st July 1915, aged 25, by British Artillery when a shell fell short of its target at Zouave Wood, near Ypres, Belgium.
