Private Albert Daubney

Battalion: 9th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born and lived at Derby. Son of Emma Daubney, of 47, Walker Lance, Derby. Husband of Hettie Annie Daubney, of 25, Watson Street, Derby. He was a labourer in the carriage and wagon department of the Midland Railway, Derby, prior to enlisting on 9th November 1914 at Derby. He went to Gallipoli on 28th August 1915 and suffered from trench foot. He was transferred to England on Hospital Ship St. Patrick, 9th January 1916. He went to France on 28th August 1916 and died of wounds on 5th October 1917.
