Born 18th February 1877 at Hadlow Down, Sussex. Son of George and Sarah Ann Daniels, of Hadlow Down, Uckfield, Sussex. He enlisted on 9th February 1916 at Horley, Oxfordshire. He went to France on 19th July 1916 and was killed in action, 12th July 1918, age 41, by German shellfire whilst in the line near Essarts, France.
