Born 12th May 1893 at Norwich, Norfolk. Son of Charles and Elizabeth Letitia Daniels, of 1 The Birches, Mile End Road, Eaton, Norwich. He was a surveyor prior to enlisting. He went to France on 25th July 1915 and gained a commission with the Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment, on 26th June 1916 and joined the 1st Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment, on 26th August 1917. He was wounded on 1st April 1918 and died on 4th November 1918, aged 25.
