Private Fred Daniel

Battalion: 2/6th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born and lived at Eyam, Derbyshire. Son of Sam and Ann Daniel, of Water Lane, Eyam. He was a farm labourer prior to enlisting at Bakewell, Derbyshire. He was killed in action, on 27th April 1917, aged 24, in the British attack at Quarry and Cologne Farm, near Hargicourt, France.
