British 15 Star, British War and Victory MedalBorn at Oulton, Staffordshire. and lived at 106, Ilkeston Road, Nottingham. Husband of Winifred Annie Daniel. He was a Midland Railway clerk prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He was also formerly a drill instructor to the 5th Nottingham Boy Scouts. He went to France on 28th February 1915 and was killed in action, 13th October 1915, during the attack on the Hohenzollern Redoubt, France.
