Private Harold Arthur Dale

Battalion: 2nd Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Son of Arthur and Martha Dale, of 34 Brighton Road, Crewton, Derbyshire. He was a labourer in the carriage and wagon department of the Midland Railway, Derby prior to enlisting at Derby. He was killed in action, 28th September 1916, whilst serving in the line near Lesboeufs, France during the Battle of the Somme.
