Born at Bulwell, Nottingham. Son of Thomas and Kate Dable, of 40 Newmarket Road, Bulwell. Husband of Mary Ann Dable, of 14, Gawthorn Street, New Basford, Nottingham. He was a laundry van man prior to enlisting at Ilkeston, Derbyshire. He was transferred to the 366334 Labour Corps and died of wounds on 23rd December 1917.
