Born and lived at Nottingham. Son of Walter Edward and Annie Knight, of 141, Bulwell Lane, Old Basford, Nottingham. He was a dyer’s assistant prior to enlisting in Acton, Middlesex. He died of wounds, 12th August 1917, age 20.
