Born at Rugby, Warwickshire and resided at 2 Mount Zion Square, Eldon Street, Newark, Nottinghamshire. Only son of Rose E. Knee, of 35, Cross Street, Newark, Nottinghamshire. Enlisted 28th May 1915, went to France 16th July 1916. Died 24th January 1917. Age 19.

Buried: Foncquevillers Military Cemetery, France. Plot I, Row F, Grave 14.
