Battalion: 2/8th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Tupton, Derbyshire. Son of Frank and Sarah Ann Kinnerley, of Kelks Yard, Front Street, Arnold, Nottingham. He was a Lace Threader prior to enlisting at Arnold and served in Dublin during the Irish Rebellion of 1916. He went to France in February 1917 and was killed in action 27th April 1917 in the attack near Hargicourt, France.
