Battalion: 1/7th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born at Moor Green, Nottinghamshire. Son fo James and Thirza Cunningham, of Padna Cottage, Moor Green, Nottinghamshire. He was a clerk prior to enlisting on 26th May 1914 at Nottingham. He went to France on 28th February 1915 and was killed in action, 13th October 1915, in the attack at the Hohenzollern Redoubt, France.
