Born at Redditch, Worcestershire. Son of William and Laura Crow, of 109, Bromsgrove Road, Redditch. Husband of Isabelle Crow, of 93 Westminster Road, Selly Park, Birmingham. He was a painter prior to enlisting, 29th November 1915 at Redditch. He went to France on 25th March 1918 and was transferred to the 2/6th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment, 28th March 1918. He was posted to the 15th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment, 13th June 1918. he was killed in action, 20th October 1918, aged 28, in the attack Sweveghem, Belgium.
