Born and lived at Highgate, London. Son of Richard James and Emily Crosher, of 183, Dartmouth Park Hill, Highgate, London. He enlisted at St. Pancras, London and was killed in action, 1st July 1917, age 19, in the British attack at Cite St. Theodore near Lens, France.
