Born at Cropwell Butler, Nottinghamshire and lived at 41, Marple Street, Nottingham. Son of John Thomas and Annie Elizabeth Maude Coy, of 21, Marple Street, Nottingham. Husband of Maude Mary Coy. He was a furniture maker prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He died of wounds 3rd June 1917.
