Lance Corporal Walter Corah

Battalion: 15th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Shepshed, Leicestershire. Son of William and Sophia Corah, of 28, Goldsmith Street, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. He was a cotton mill hand prior to enlisting at Mansfield. He went to France on 2nd March 1915 and was killed in action, 19th August 1917, aged22, in the attack on the Knoll, neal L’Empire, France.
