Born at lived at Derby. Son of Charles Henry and Charlotte Cooper, of 24, Hulland Street, Derby. He enlisted at Derby and was killed in action, 26th September 1917, aged 20, in the attack at Otto Farm near Gravenstafel, Belgium.
