Born at Lincoln, Lincolnshire. Son of Charles and Mary Jane Comins, of 117, Winn Street, Lincoln, Lincolnshire. He was an errand boy prior to enlisting at Lincoln. He was killed in action, 3rd September 1918, aged23, during the attack at Richebourg, France.

Buried : Fouquieres Churchyard Extension, France. Plot 4. Row F. Grave 13.
