Born and lived at Chewton Mendip, Somerset. Son of Allen and Elizabeth Clavey, of Braysbatch, Chewton Mendip, Somerset. He enlisted at Bristol and was killed in action, 26th September 1917, whilst in the line at Hill 70, near Loos, France.

Died: 26th September 1917.
