Husband of Rose Hannah Clark, of Old Kent Road, London. He was a butcher prior to enlisting on 12th December 1915 at Deptford. He went to France on 16th February 1917 and suffered gunshot wounds to his back, on the 4th May 1917 and died, 5th May 1917, at 55 Casualty Clearing Station, Peronne.
