Born and lived at Derby. Son of Roland and Elizabeth Chambers, of 1 Morrell’s Yard, Nun Street, Derby. He was a bakers assistant prior to enlisting at Derby. He went to Gallipoli on 28th August 1915, and died of wounds in hospital in Malta, 6th December 1915, received in Gallipoli.
Died : 6th December 1915.
Buried : Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta. Plot D. Row 11. Grave 4.
