Born and lived in Nottingham. Son of William and Mary Cavers, of 10, Agnes Terrace, Dame Agnes Street, Nottingham. Husband of Nellie Cavers, of 5, Lewis Street, Alfred Street, Nottingham. He was a lace threader prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He was killed in action, 22nd March 1918, aged 26, in the German attack on the British line near Beuvry, France.
