Born and lived at Cambridge. Son of Harry and Annie Carter of 2, Corona Road, Cambridge. He enlisted at Cambridge and died of wounds, 15th April 1918, aged 19.

Buried : Mendinghem Military Cemetery, Belgium. Plot 9. Row F. Grave 7.
