Born and lived at Nottingham. Son of William and Susannah Canadine, of 76, Sutton Street, Meadow Lane, Nottingham. He was a grocers errand lad prior to enlisting 8th March 1915 at Nottingham. He went to France 27th October 1915. He suffered gunshot wounds to his skull on the 26th June 1916, was treated at No. 20 Casualty Clearing Station Warlincourt and died 28th June 1916, aged 18.
