Born and lived at Ryhope, Co. Durham. Son of William and Sarah Cambrook, of Aged Miners Homes, Ryhope, Co. Durham. He enlisted at Sunderland and was killed in action, 26th September 1917, age 20, in the attack near Wieltje, Belgium.
