Born and lived at Tibshelf, Derbyshire. Son of John and Annie Elizabeth Calvert, of 13 Haddon Street, Tibshelf. Husband of Mrs Annie Draycott (formerly Calvert) He enlisted at Chesterfield and was killed in action, 9th August 1915, in the attack at Ismail Oglu Tepe, (Chocolate Hill), Gallipoli, Turkey.
