Lance Corporal Arthur Caesar

Battalion : 2nd Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born and lived at Haslemere, Surrey. Son of Arthur William and Louisa Caesar, of 5 Longdean Road Haslemere. He enlisted at Guildford, Surrey and went to France 17th September 1915 He was killed in action, 19th September 1918, in the attack on the Quadrilateral near Holnon, France.

Buried : Chapelle British Cemetery, Holnon, France. Plot 2, Row B. Grave 2.
