Son of Mr and Mrs Jim Johnson, of “Daisy Dene,” Austhorpe Avenue, Whitkirk, Leeds. Went to France on 1st March 1915. Four Times Previously Wounded.

Killed in action, 21st March 1918, aged 24, whilst holding the line near Noreuil, France on the opening day of the German Spring Offensive or (Kaiserschlact)
