Born and lived in Nottingham. Adopted son of Robert and Alice Wheeldon, of 17, Knob Yard, Narrow Marsh, Nottingham. He was a newsagent prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He was wounded on 15th July 1916 and died on 24th July 1916, aged 24.
