Battalion: 1/7th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Son of Peter and Emma Nequest, of 29, South Sherwood Street, Nottingham. Went to France on 26th June `1915. Killed in action, on 1st July 1916, aged 18, in the attack on the German positions at Gommecourt, France, on the first day of the Battle of the Somme.
