Son of P.W. and Gertrude Nelson of “West-Minster” Hindhead, Surrey. King George’s Coronation Medal (1911). Joined the army on the 5th August 1914 and was gazetted Second Lieutenant on the 17th September 1914. Native of Hoddesdon, Hertfordhshire. Died of wounds 8th July 1916. Age 20.
