Born at Leicester and lived at Derby. Son of Henry and Emma Orme, of 15, Dover Street, Derby. Husband of Elizabeth Ann Orme, of 149, Parliament Street, Derby. He was employed in silk and braid manufacturing prior to enlisting at Derby. He went to France 17th December 1914 and died of wounds, 8th October 1915, aged 31, at No. 26 Field Ambulance.
