Born at Nottingham and lived at 2, Bloom Square, Radford, Nottingham. Son of George and Mary Ogle, of 48, Tyne Street, Lenton, Nottingham. Husband of Florence Ogle. He was a threader prior to enlisting 21st August 1907 at Nottingham. He went to France 11th November 1914 and was killed in action, 15th September 1916, in the attack on the German positions at Guillemont, France, during the Battle of the Somme.
Commemorated : Thiepval Memorial, France. Pier and Face 10 C 10 D and 11 A.
