Son of John Thomas and Sarah Ann Elliott, of 183 Boyer Street, Derby. He enlisted 22nd November 1915 at Derby. Went to France 13th May 1916 and suffered gunshot wounds to his right leg and arms and died of wounds 19th August 1916, at No. 20 Casualty Clearing Station, Warlincourt, France.
