Born and lived at Repton, Derbyshire. Son of Frederick and Elizabeth Eaton, of The Cross, Repton. He was a Garden Labourer prior to enlisting at Derby. He was killed in action, 28th September 1917, aged 24, whilst serving in the line at Wieltje, Belgium.
